New bakery opens at 115 High Street, Oxford
CTPL secured listed building consent and advertisement consent in January 2025 on behalf of “Knead Bakery” for internal and external works along with new signage for their new bakery, patisserie and eatery at 115 High Street, Oxford. This late 18th and early 19th century Grade II listed building is situated in the heart of Oxford’s Central (City & University) Conservation Area but had been vacant since 2017 when “Hobbs” moved to the Westgate Centre. The bakery opened in June 2025 and adds to the company’s portfolio of premises, which currently operate from Cirencester, Tetbury, Tewkesbury and Elkstone in the Cotswolds. It also brings greater footfall to this part of the High Street, where CTPL have been active, having also secured consents at 116-117 and 118 High Street for Lincoln College.
