Alterations to Grade II listed Townsend Building in the Oxford University Science Area

Working with Donald Insall Associates (Oxford), CTPL obtained planning permission and listed building consent in September 2025 for Oxford University to remodel and refurbish the Grade II listed Townsend Building to create a combination of modern cellular offices, open-plan workspaces, meeting rooms and collaboration areas to accommodate two new research groups in this important University Science Area at Parks Road, Oxford. CTPL is now working with the City Council to agree further minor works and discharge conditions, as the approved internal and external alteration work progresses on site.
