Class Q Barn Conversion underway at Great Bourton, Oxfordshire

After clients experienced three refusals for the conversion of a barn to a dwelling for their own occupation on a working farm at Great Bourton, North Oxfordshire, CTPL were instructed and finally secured “Prior Approval” under Class Q of the Town & Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 2015 for the conversion in July 2024. After discharging a range of pre-commencement conditions work CTPL are pleased to see that work is now underway on the conversion of the building, which is planned to be completed in the Summer 2026.
