Appeal success at Godington, Oxfordshire

CTPL were engaged to prepare and submit an appeal against Cherwell District Council’s refusal to allow alterations to and extension of a farmhouse at Godington, Oxfordshire without complying with a condition requiring a non-opening and obscure glazed window at first floor level in the side elevation of the extension. On the 1st April 2026, the Inspector agreed with CTPL that the clear glazed, opening window installed in the extension would not result in a significant loss of privacy or amenity to the occupiers of the adjoining property and allowed the appeal.
