CTPL handled the planning application in late 2025 but also produced a Marketing Statement to show how the estate agents had sought to sell the property, including the vacant shop unit, over a period of more than 12 months. This established that there was no viable interest in operating the small retail unit for commercial or employment purposes, which satisfied Policy E1 of the West Oxfordshire Local Plan, 2031. Permission was duly granted in December 2025 and work on the property, which had been empty for a number of years, is well underway.
